Sage Green wallpaper
I adore all hues of sage green, never jarring on the eye and forever elegant in the home.
Wallpaper
Horatia is a green foliage wallpaper which uses two tonal shades of sage green and ribbon for a timeless interior. As beautiful in a sitting room, dining room, or for a nursery wallpaper.
The paint
Farrow and Ball's WhirlyBird 309 and Breakfast Room Green 81 are excellent matches for our Horatia wallpaper in sage green. Both great choices for painted half wall tongue and groove panelling for the ultimate cottagecore pairing.
Wedgwood
I've collected Wedgwood Jasperware in sage green for a while. Less twee and more grown up than the other pastel colours. When it was piled high in charity shops, I used to marvel at the craftsmanship could be bought for a few pounds. The candlesticks are so classic, I love mine!
Foot Balm
We've not had the summer for it, but I've been sandal ready with Footopia. The pretty sage green packaging belie its mighty power. I take advantage of Beauty Pie's occasional 1 day passes.
Plant a sage
With drier ground, erratic weather, and hungry deer, I've been planting sage in my parents' garden. It copes with everything and is so pretty in all its forms, variegated, purple etc. Patience required, I do love watching things grow.
Fried sage leaves
My favourite way to eat eggs is fried in butter with crispy sage leaves and toast. Pretending I'm Kitty Coles, cooking at the sun soaked beach in Mallorca. I like the simplicity of her recipes.
Sage advice
The most comforting and simple words came from an ex colleague last year in the face of a daunting role: 'Look it's either going to work or not. And both of those outcomes are absolutely fine.'
Until next times friends.
Love, Isla xx
